Our client is an independent multi disciplinary engineering consultancy who are presently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to be based in their Winchester office. This position will require applicants to join an existing team of engineers and modellers working on the design and appraisal of flood defence works, drainage studies, SUDS, pumping station design and flood risk assessments. Suitable candidates are likely to have a experience of undertaking flood risk assessments, a sound technical knowledge of hydrological and hydraulic modelling, a good understanding of the workings of the Environment Agency, DEFRA and other relevant statutory bodies and demonstrable knowledge of current planning policies and procedures. This is a permanent position and attracts a competitive level of remuneration.
