Our client is an International Multidisciplinary Construction Consultancy with a worldwide reputation. They are currently seeking to appoint a Principal / Associate Quantity Surveyor to work out of their Swindon office. It is intended that the successful applicant will initially provide post contract Quantity Surveying and Cost Management services on the enabling infrastructure of a substantial joint venture project. This project will include a number of important civil engineering contracts to be tendered on NEC, ICE or GCWorks contracts with values between £1m and £10m. The eventual post holder will be expected to be capable of negotiating directly with a leading national contractor and although nominally office based it is envisaged that a large proportion of time will be spent on site. The value of the enabling infrastructure is approximately £100m and includes the principal roads, sewers, services, public open space, play facilities and community buildings. This is an opportunity to work on a prestigious project and attracts a highly competitive remuneration package.
