Our Client is one of the world's largest Cost Management Consultancies within the Construction and Property sectors. They are currently seeking to appoint a number of Quantity Surveyors to join the team within their New York office. These opportunities have arisen due to the major increase in workload initiated by the recent addition of a significant commission to the office's already substantial levels of business. It is anticipated that the eventual post-holders will boost the team working on a $2 Billion renovation project providing cost management services including estimating, cost reporting and contract management of both the consultants and the construction. The project itself is varied, complex and multifaceted including corporate office fit outs, refurbishment of high rise office towers, museums, hotels and commercial apartment buildings. Suitable candidates are likely to be either at post graduate level seeking their APC or have already gained a professional qualification. Applicants should have excellent communication and IT skills, a proactive approach to tasks, the ability to work effectively to deadlines and be able to operate well both in a team and individually. This role attracts a competitive remuneration package but perhaps more importantly is an excellent opportunity to develop skills and gain experience whilst working on one of America's most prestigious projects.
