Our Client is one of the largest Multi-Disciplinary Construction Consultancies in the UK. They are presently seeking a Project Manager to join their team within the Oxford office. Suitable candidates are likely to have worked in a Project Management capacity on a number of Construction Projects, may have a background in Quantity Surveying or Building Surveying and MRICS or MAPM status would be an advantage. This is an opportunity to work on a number of key commissions which may include projects for Formula 1 Racing, Large Retail Developments/Refurbishments and Town Centre Redevelopments up to the value of circa Ł300 million. The successful candidates will be capable of managing projects from conception, taking client briefs and advising from design, planning and feasibility through to construction. Excellent pre-contract documentation knowledge is required together with the ability to set up and use project management tools such as project handbooks and project execution plans. This role has a substantial client-facing element and as such excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required. Any experience in the roles of Employers Agent and/or Contract Administrator would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a team of highly motivated people who constantly try and push the boundaries of the Construction Consultancy industry.
