Our client is one of the UK's largest Quantity Surveying and Project Management Consultancies. They are presently seeking a Cost Manager on a freelance basis to be based in Plymouth for a minimum duration of a year with possibilities of extensions thereafter. Applications are invited from candidates who are capable of cost planning, estimating, providing procurement and valuation management, preparing and negotiating final accounts and, ideally, preparing Bills of Quantity. Applicants who have gained experience within both the public and private sector will be at an advantage. It is anticipated that this role will commence shortly and have a 12 month duration initially although this may be subsequently extended by periods of 3 months and attracts a rate commensurate with skills and experience of up to £35ph.
