Our client is an established firm of Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers who are presently seeking a Civil Engineer to join the team in their Ipswich office. The role will require the design of Civil Engineering schemes with a particular emphasis on structures including undertaking inspections, surveys, reports, calculations, drawings, contract administration and project management. Suitable candidates are likely to have a degree in Civil Engineering or a similarly relevant qualification and together with experience in the design and management of a range of civil engineering works including liaising with external stakeholders. Applicants will be expected to demonstrate knowledge of engineering principles, a flair for design, good numerical and communication skills and any experience of Rail or Energy projects is likely to prove advantageous.This is a permanent position which attracts a competitive level of remuneration.
