This International Multi-Disciplinary Consultant to the Built, Natural and Social Environment are currently seeking a Building Services (M&E) Surveyor to join the team in their Newcastle office. Suitable candidates will be expected to provide operational and management support on various projects throughout the North East of England and this role could be an opportunity for an experienced maintenance engineer to move their career to the next level. Applicants will need to have an in depth knowledge of building services, a good working knowledge of buildings in general and competent report writing skills. Candidates for this role will be expected to have a relevant degree qualification, and ideally chartered status, or a compensatory level of experience, excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and experience of Legionella Risk Assessments. The appointee will also be trained to undertake Building Energy Inspections and so an understanding of energy conservation would be beneficial.
