Our client provides a range of consultancy services to a diverse range of sectors both in the UK and overseas. They are presently seeking to appoint an Associate or Director to their Infrastructure Division and although the role will be based in their London office overseas travel will be required. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the profitability of the Infrastructure Division through both business development and the successful execution of work. Furthermore they will support and lead the profit centre in making proposals and winning work as well as developing their own network of clients and contacts within the transport sector and in particular Rail / Metro. Suitable candidates are likely to be qualified to degree level in addition to being a member of a recognised professional institution, have excellent people management skills and a good network of contacts within the UK transport sector. A proven ability to identify opportunities, create compelling proposals and generate repeat business through maintaining excellent levels of client care would be advantageous. The successful applicant is likely to be qualified and experienced in at least two of the following: Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Claims Management and Dispute Resolution, Cost Management and Estimating, Contract Administration or PFI / PPP. This role attracts a competitive remuneration package commensurate with a high profile business development role within an international consultancy.
